Elizabeth & Emily's Dance Recital
Yesterday, my mother and I drove down to Connecticut to see Elizabeth and Emily perform in their dance recital. This was Emily's first year performing and she had a little stage fright during her ballet performance. By the time she and Elizabeth performed in acrobatics together, though, she was in rare form and together, they stole the show! Then Elizabeth performed in ballet and jazz. My little nieces did great!! More pictures at the Clover Street Chronicles .

14 mile Muddy Moose trail run

As most of you know, my running friends are some of my closest and dearest friends. A recent email suggested a 14 mile trail race and the word Fun was in the email. The problem with this run was that there was no 'trail' to speak of, it was 80 degrees and 100% humidty, unbelievable rock climbing, small lakes, and oh, lets not forget the mud...hence the muddy moose. This picture does not do it justice!! Oh...it was fun alright!!!

Elizabeth & Emily (and Emily!) Visit
Last weekend, Elizabeth and Emily visited us from Connecticut - and Emily visited them at our house! The girls played and jumped and snacked together. And after Emily and her parents left, Elizabeth and Emily helped us make brownies. Fun, fun, fun!
Thanks for sharing your popcorn, Uncle Peter.
When are these going to be ready?

O'Connor Christmas 2008
Despite 2 winter storms that sent Mike and Sandra to Maine, kept them in NH an extra day, and sent Maureen and Lee home a little early, the O'Connor Christmas was a success!! All the cousins had fun and it was great seeing everyone. Thanks Joe and Karen for hosting! More pictures here and at Elizabeth & Emily's blog.
