After many years as a loyal friend and companion, Benny went over the rainbow bridge on Thursday night.  According to the poem, animals that were ill and old are restored to health and vigor; they all run and play together and are happy and content.  Although we miss Benny so much, we are comforted by the fact that he is in a better place now.
